What do women want ?

That's the question that's been around for ages, right?
Frankly, I don't know what's the whole fuss about. People say that women are from Venus and men are from Mars, but I tend to believe that both are from Earth and I have science to back me up... :D
I honestly do believe that men and women ultimately want the same things in life.
I think that any human being regardless of having xx or xy chromosomes, pursues Love and Success (and a number of other things) in life in order to achieve a sense of happiness and fulfillment.

Whether it's a stay at home mom who wants to succeed in raising her children well and taking care of her family or a business man who wants build an empire, I think the accomplishment itself provides a sense of happiness and satisfaction... different fields/means, same final outcome.

Most people expect to find love in relationships, which by turn makes them feel happy and fulfilled.
But in order for that to work, their spouse and family must be their absolute first priority. Which is often missed by men or women who let their careers take over...

Since the post is about what women want... Here's what I think women want to feel and have in a relationship. They want the: understanding, patience, support, respect, appreciation, growth, sharing, listening, care, empathy, proactivity, kindness, affection, trust, honesty, a soft spot to fall to, acceptance, openness, integrity, commitment, affirmation and sacrifice... that is love.
And I mean all of them in a give and take manner because love is a verb (act and be acted upon). It never works when you stay on one side of the verb. " I listen to you" has to be paired with "you listen to me", "I respect you" with "you respect me".

So, what do women want (in relationships that is) ?
I think they want to be present on both sides of the verbs .... not left on the left :)

"Sweet Talk"

This Ramadan, since I don't have the talent of tolerating Arabic Drama, TV commercials were pretty much what I enjoyed most , except for the few episodes I watched from "Tamer we Shaw2eya" and "EL Malek Farouk"...which I liked a lot.

Throughout the 178503846 ads that aired this year, this one was probably the best in my opinion.
It's for the new telecom company in Iraq and it's overwhelming.....
Enjoy...

Sold ..... to the gentleman in the yacht !

Looks like replacing the sidewalks here in Alexandria was of a great benefit after all !!
Word on the street says that the "Basalt stones" taken from the old sidewalks after serving their 50-year sentence, have been sold for a generous number of millions to be used in building the San Stefano Marina....

See, it's a win win situation, we get the crappy sidewalks, they get their money, and the San Stefano marina gets to be built well....Now, we can have a decent place to moor our yachts.

So, people shouldn't be so ungrateful complaining about having no place to park or drive their cars during and after the process ............ especially when we're getting so much in return.

The Perfect StorE

Just thought of expressing my strong admiration for Amazon.com :D

It has the most exceptional customer service ever, sells EVERYTHING and for the lowest prices on the web nearly 80% of the time.

Also, it gives people like us the opportunity to shop and browse a huge selection of American and foreign online stores ... including stores that don't accept international orders through their own websites, (especially from countries like Egypt which is unfortunately said to have high rate of fraud)

So, Amazon have made it easy for people around the world buy all kinds of -high quality- stuff at good prices through their website.

As for us, being the democratic country that we are, thanks to the ridiculous customs applied to anything crossing the borders...we get the liberty to choose between extremely crappy and extremely overpriced.

Promosquad.com

After rating about 3500 different songs ...most of them awful, some good and a few before they got released, I finally got my iPod nano (Silver) ..
Looks like I was having a lot of free time on my hands last summer ... but it got me a free iPod.
Well not quite...it's still at my uncle's in the US but I guess I'll be getting it soon.

Lost in translation

I haven't seen the movie but I've always liked the title...
Through out my life I haven't dealt much with being misunderstood by others though I'm not that good at expressing myself...
Even if that happened I would try as much as I can to set things straight and it usually works, but recently... this has not been the case
Being misunderstood can be frustrating, fatal, funny or even useful...depending on how lucky you are.
But, it's hardest when it involves someone close, someone who's supposed to understand you well......... most of all it feels sad that they don't really understand, frustrating that you can't get through and in the end you just feel lost.
Well, not for long cause hopefully I'll find my way soon :)

Ceutical Chemistry

A lovely subject that we study (or memorize is more like it) at college.
Behold its beauty..

AKA: N-(p- (((2,4 -diamino-6-pteridyl)methyl) methylamino) benzoyl)glutamic acid

Halofantrine
AKA:3-dibutylamino-1-[1,3-dichloro-6-(trifluoromethyl) phenanthren-9-yl]-propan-1-ol

Amphotericin B
IUPAC name is too long to write.

I know.... It really photographs well, don't you think?

I have about 300 of those.. I just can't get enough.

Well, what makes me share those great images (or shall I say memories) with you is the final exam which was today.

What can I say? .... a 14-paged album of this beauty, all I had to do was to name every single "beauty" of them, say how they are related to each other, their occupation and how they work.... piece of cake.
It wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't asked us to paint 10 of those in the last 2 pages ...
I'm not very good at remembering faces..

An ad that adds..

OK, I find this phone to be really really cool...... but what I liked most about it was its TV commercial.
It took me a couple of times to start focusing on the dialogue and the way it was said....... amazing.
